Teaching Lineage

In traditional Yang style T’ai Chi, attention is given to the lineage of the teaching — how the teaching is passed down through the generations.

In particular, importance is given to how directly the teaching can be traced back to the Yang family and to Yang Lu Chan, the founder of the Yang style.

Twin WIllows instructor Bryan Davis is only seven steps away from the founder of Yang style T’ai Chi, in a very direct line.
